My primary instrument. I have been playing bass guitar for over twenty five years and have a degree in Popular Music Performance from The Guitar Institute/Basstech (now the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London).
I have played for artists such as Rick Astley, Chesney Hawkes, Peter Howarth (The Hollies), Steve V King (The Drifters) and have played on theme tunes for shows on both the BBC and Channel 4. I've also three years of playing nightly on cruise ships (P&O) as a sight reading musician covering ballroom, orchestra, party band & backing guest entertainers. I'm currently playing bass on the Get It On UK Tour.
I've over ten years of teaching everyone from complete beginners through to degree level students working on advanced techniques. This includes private students, agency teaching and music centres.
I'm happy to prepare students for Rockschool graded exams, which I have experience examining and know the syllabus well.
